Junior Political Economist Guild is the newly established student organization of the Department of Political economy based at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

The organization is founded in pursuit of developing its members to be academically excellent in the field of politics, economics and governance as well as to enrich the leadership skills of its members in-order to emboss the fore ground of political economic thinking. It also aims to solidify the appreciation of the dynamics of Political Economy as a discipline vital for policy making process.

Moreover, the organization is committed in building its own identity by promoting unity and camaraderie among its constituents and to diversify the socio-economic awareness of its members by understanding the underlying forces of the Political Economic realm.
